The Liberty Hall

After 30 years of sitting empty this ex-public convenience has now been converted into a newly renovated flexible space, offering a range of activities and services in and around Clapton Common.

Liberty Hall is a flexible space available for community hire. We share responsibility for the use of Liberty Hall with our main partner, Made In Hackney. You can find out more about rates, facilities and hire by visiting Made In Hackney’s venue hire page.

Whats happening?

• Coffee Kiosk - Cafe Muisca coffee kiosk is open Monday to Friday 9am-2.30pm and Saturday 10am-2pm, serving the best speciality columbian coffee in North London

• Cycle Clinic - Working with Cycle Folk our drop in free bike clinic runs every other Sunday (now funded until 2022) - more details on our instagram

• Community kitchen - follow Made in Hackney on instagram for news on their free community cookery classes

• Community Garden - led by local landscape gardener and horticulturalist Hannah Leigh Mackie (this community initiative is funded by Mayor of London’s Greener Cities fund)

• Flower stall - run by local flower business Meadows and Green, the stall is open on Thursdays and Fridays outside Liberty Hall.
