VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Clapton Commons, as a community organisation, is built upon the generosity of neighbours giving their time and skills to the benefit of others. We are always looking for new people willing to do the same. Here are a few ways people already do so.
Cooking Skills
Every Tuesday evening, neighbours gather at Liberty Hall to make tasty, healthy and low-cost meals. No official cooking skills are necessary. If you would like to get involved, get in touch.
Buddying with neighbours
Loneliness and isolation is rife. We want to do what we can to connect neighbours, not just for practical help, but to build reciprocal community. If you are interested in befriending those whose need is someone to talk to and walk with both literally and metaphorically, get in touch.
GARDENING
Clapton Commons partners with local community spaces to make our home thrive for all of nature. If you are interested in bulb planting, weeding, growing food or helping build green spaces, get in touch.
